Sanjeevaraya temple - Ramanagara District(60 kms) from bangalore- Suitable for a evening drive aka Temple visit
2nd August 2020 It was a Sunday, where we all were craving for a long drive in our car in the midst of Covid restrictions. Covid pandemic spread, lockdown fever and protocol to travel with masks, sanitisers and home food were inevitable for the day. We as a family decided to do a impromptu visit to a Hanuman temple by name Sanjeevaraya temple in Ramanagara district, in Karnataka. It was situated at a shor distance of 60 kms from Konankunte cross, Kanakapura main road. Route- Kengeri, Ramanagara, Kengal Anjaneya temple Once you reach the Kengal Anjaneya temple which is on the Mysore highway after Ramanagara, you slow down since you have to take a right turn in 1 km. there is small arch which you might loose sight if you drive fast. You have to take the right , where you hit a railway level crossing within 100 meters. It is a village road(very narrow one) where you have to drive with care. You can see the bustling villagers on the streets especially if it is a evening time they enjoy...
